Health Risk Assesment Course

The health risk assessment are vital to protect the workers in the workplace, especially in industries. The risk assessment course will provide the industries with all the skills they need to comply with the law. Based on Safety and Occupational Health constitution, business owners must  provide the safety and occupational health benefits are needed in the workplace, in order to control to create safe, efficient and productive work.

Health Risk Assesment Service

a) Industrial Hygiene (IH) Service (Working Area Assesment)

Almost all fields of work have risks that contain health problems for their workers. It’s just that you are still actively working, but it also causes them to no longer do the work. Usually, the problem of interference caused by new work activities will be seen after people quit their jobs in the near or long term. Therefore there is a need for a system that can remove the challenge. Working Area Assesment Programme is one of the programme offered by Occupational and Environmental Health Research Center Cluster in IMERI FK UI to the industrial world to find alternative solution in workers health in industrial problems. WAS Program is a study that is Preventive and carried out comprehensively on the Improvement of Employee Occupational Health Programs, that’s implemented by the Industry to improve more productive working conditions.

Case Study:

  • Making indentification of sources of exposure material of chemistry, physics and microbiology sourced from activities in the workplace.
  • Knowing and understanding air quality from the work environment of chemiscals and microbiology and physics factors, both qualitative and quantitavely.
  • Knowing and understanding light quality from work environment
  • The data is used as the basic material to make a industry system improvement.

Health Risk Assesment Service

b) Occupational Health (OH) Service (Biomonitoring for Workers)

OEHRC lab is one of the laboratories in IMERI FK UI, which has a main focus in the field of analytical services that focus on industrial hygiene and biomonitoring, food safety, and validation method for product development. In addition, we are supported by competent and highly experienced human resources in the field. OEHRC Lab has the support of sophisticated laboratory equipment / instrumentation, to answer the challenges of the need for Laboratory Analysis Services in Indonesia. OEHRC lab also has networks with fellow similar laboratories in the country, both managed by national / international private companies, as well as research institutes of research institutions and universities.

Case Study:

  • Identify the amount of exposure to a dangerous chemical and metal in urine, blood and plasma, using GCMS and AAS.
